For first-time Oregon notary applicants and Oregon notaries who are re-applying after commission expiration:
- A mandatory training course is required along with the application, exam and filing fee.
- You can choose a training option from the resources listed below.
Notary Training Options
Notary Basics: Self-Paced Online Training is available in Workday. You will need to create an account. The training title is
SOS - CORP - Notary Basics: Self-Paced Online Training. If you already have an account, you do not need to set up a new one. Use this link to sign in.
