Get your business needs taken care of fast by registering, re​newing or reinstating online. Business registrations and Certificate of Existence requests submitted through our online systems are processed on the same or the next business day.

Fast - In-Person Counter Service

Our office is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Be sure to watch for notifications at the top of our Business website for any changes to our hours.

Arrive by 4:00 p.m. to ensure same day processing. Sometimes a request may take longer and cannot be completed the same day, but we do our best.

Normal - Faxed registrations

Faxed documents and forms avoid mail delivery time but are processed in the same queue as those mailed, in about 2 weeks. Our Credit Card Fax Cover Sheet can be used when a fee applies.  Fax numbers vary by type of form and are shown on the form itself or on the fax cover sheet.  Phone confirmation of a fax received cannot be provided due to the high daily volume.

​Normal - Mailed Registrations

P​lease allow time for mail delivery and then 2 weeks for processing of mailed business registration forms. Our address always shows at the top of our forms.

U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail and Express Mail are processed the same as regular mail because they do not come directly to our Public Service Counter.​

Fast - Expedited Shipping and Priority Handling

Documents and forms received through Federal Express or UPS Overnight or 2nd Day delivery are given priority handling by type of document and are processed within 2-3 business days; (Not USPS “Priority Mail” which gets normal handling.)

Return expedited delivery of documents (e.g., Apostille, Certified Copies) happens when you provide a pre-paid, pre-printed label from FedEx or UPS with your Request form. This label  ("airbill") from FedEx or UPS is traceable and very reliable.
NOTE: Do not provide a hand-written pre-paid shipping label.  These cannot be processed in our office, and your document will be returned by regular mail.

Shipping Internationally

Use expedited shipping to ensure the timely arrival of your documents at their international destination. A prepaid, pre-printed label (airbill) from FedEx, UPS or DHL is required; (not a label with a hand-written account number, which cannot be used.)  
Otherwise, documents will be sent via regular mail, and your documents may be at risk due to the unpredictable reliability of the destination country's postal system. If FedEx, UPS, or DHL are not available, customers should consider other delivery arrangements.​
